As a fan of Andy Warhol's work, it came as a surprise to find out he was so fond of his cats he painted them, being Andy Warhol he didnt paint them cat coloured, he painted them in blue and pink ! Ceramics All our ceramics are handmade in our studio, where they go through at least two firings at over 1000 C . We use only foodsafe glazes and underglazes on articles that come in contact with food and drink,This includes pet bowls as we want our "furry" customers to be safe as well!. All our ceramics are dishwasher safe but because of the thickness of the underglaze designs we dont recommend microwave use as this could lead to hot spots. Candles All Candles are handmade using only the finest scents and low temperature methods to ensure minimum fragrance loss. We use no lead in the wicks. All candles should be burnt on a heat resistant surface (votives should be burned in a votive holder). Keep away from draughts and flammable materials eg curtains and never leave a burning candle unattended or where it can be reached by children and animals. Order processing We aim to have all stock items dispatched within 48 hours of recipt of payment. Personalised and customised orders may take longer (theres no rushing the kiln!!) but we will be able to provide you with an estimated time when you place an order, this can be as little as 48hrs !! Post and packing We always calculate our postal charges based on the actual weight of the items plus protective packaging, with Paypal electronic invoicing and in house card processing means you always pay just the actual cost. Card Security We process credit and debit cards offline, your card details are not floating around on the net with a third party processor, your details are securely encrypted and can only be decoded by us and do not pass through any other processes.SECURE ACTINIC encryption uses 128 bit java technology and is approved for card processing by UK banks,look for the padlock to show you are in a secure area, dont just take our word for it, check it out at shopsafe (link below) We can do this because we are a real business with an established card facility.
